Precise Utility Measurements
Utility detection methods have the ability to estimate utility depths, however the estimated depths are rarely accurate. Vacuum Excavation methods are the safest and most reliable method to obtain precise utility depths, sizes, and utility type by exposing the utility with air.
Minimally Invasive & Clean
Utilities are exposed by creating small test holes on top of the utility line. Most test holes are approximately 18 inches in diameter, which reduces the cost of excavation and minimizes restoration efforts and after the utility data has been collected.
Professional Restoration
We have a solution for all surface types, and can restore our test holes in kind with original construction materials. Grass plugs are used to excavate through sod, concrete is cored and restored using the core that was removed, and asphalt is restored using DOT approved permanent patch.
Exact Utility Depth & Size with Vacuum Excavation
Utility depths can be tricky to estimate using geophysical detection equipment. If you need a precise utility depth or confirmation of utility size, performing a test hole using air vacuum excavation is the right solution to the problem.
