Accurate Measurements
Using LiDAR technology, most underground structures, tanks, or manholes can be scanned safely from the surface to create a 3D Model of the environment without the need to perform a manned confined space entry.
Minimally Invasive & Clean
To scan any structure, the structure must be free of debris and accessible through a minimum of a 12″ opening. The LiDAR technology is not x-ray, and cannot measure objects that it can not see, so obstructions like sediment need to be removed for the scan to be successful.
Professional Results
Once a structure is scanned, any interior dimension of the structure, pipes, or visible hardware such as ladder rungs can be obtained. Precise pipe size and inverts can be obtained in addition to structure sizes.
Precise Structure Dimensions with 3d Lidar Scanning
Obtaining critical data about underground structures, tanks, and manholes can be tricky and cost prohibitive. Our structure scanning technology eliminates the need for manned confined space entry and can obtain more accurate measurements safer and more cost effectively than traditional methods.
